A Scarborough fire crew was called to a grass fire outside the Grand Hotel.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to the fire, which covered 10m x 2m of grass at the back of the Grand Hotel, at 2.42pm on Sunday.
Crews brought the fire under control at the Grand Hotel in Scarborough at around 3pm.
Firefighters used wildfire packs and beaters to tackle the fire.
