A nail polish firm in Northamptonshire has been severely damaged after a fire broke out in the premises on Tuesday morning (26th June).
Fire crews were called to Decorative Industries on the Moulton Park Industrial Estate to deal with a blaze at the rear of the building.
Around 50 firefighters spent six hours bringing the flames under control but could not prevent part of the building collapsing. No one was injured in the incident.
Speaking to Heart FM from the scene, Station Manager Karl Crocker said: “There was quite a large volume of flammable materials involved.
“The stage we are at now is that we are liaising with the Environment Agency to mitigate any damage to the environment from any run off from those chemicals.”
