t was never going to be long before Wirral Fire Protection put their boots on to prove a point to Birkenhead based Electrical supplier, CEF’s taunts to step up to the mark. After a humbling night for Mike McDonald and his CEF team, who were never in front, a cheque for £100 to Wirral Fire Protection’s chosen charity, Stick and Step will now be donated by CEF. Speaking after the victory Mike Pearson from Wirral Fire Protection said it was a win- win situation and he would welcome any similar challenges from Wirral based companies who were willing to put their reputations and money on the line for the benefit of thiswell derserving charity.
